About Ngoc Phan
Ngoc currently works as a Program Coordinator for Colorado School Medicaid Consortium; a non-profit organization that supports school districts with the School Health Services Program. She has previously worked as a special education teacher in Denver Public Schools before transitioning into a full-time Masters student at the University of Colorado Denver, School of Education and Human Development. Ngoc is a first generation University of Denver alumna with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and minors in Chinese and communication. Being a 1.5 generation Vietnamese American has ignited her interest in fighting against the inequities in our education system through the lens of her other identities. Project Ava has been her platform to fuel her passion for social justice in the education sphere as a previous storyteller and a current board member.
