Stacie Furst Holloway Workshop Presenter
Stacie Furst Holloway, Ph.D. is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology and the Director for Master’s in Psychology program. She is also the Co-Director of UC LEAF, an NSF ADVANCE initiative designed to enhance the recruitment, development, and retention of women faculty in the STEM disciplines at UC. Dr. Furst-Holloway received her doctorate in Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004 and has more than 25 years of industry experience working in the areas of Human Resource Management and Organizational Development.
Leading from Within: How to Get Lead Others While Staying True to Who You Are
In this workshop, participants will discuss the characteristics associated with successful leadership and then engage in a series of exercises designed to (1) assess whether they see themselves as leaders and whether those perceptions are accurate, and (2) to develop strategies for how they can become more influential leaders by leveraging their strengths and authentic selves.
